lost 50 pounds in 4 months after having my third son, and since then, I’ve helped many moms lose weight, too. Along the way, I’ve developed some pretty strong opinions about what actually matters for weight loss—and what we’re making way more complicated than it needs to be.

In this episode, I’m sharing the weight loss hills I will die on: why exercise is ancillary to weight loss, why you probably need to change very little about your nutrition, why mild hunger isn’t an emergency, why I love daily weigh-ins, and why losing and maintaining your weight can be much simpler than you think.

If you’re a high-achieving mom who wants to lose weight without counting calories, tracking macros, overhauling your diet, or relying on exercise, this episode is for you.

Welcome to Mom On Purpose, where it’s all about helping moms overcome challenges and live their best lives. My hope is by being here, you are more inspired to become the mom you were made to be. I’m Natalie, your host, a wife, boy mom, dog mama, Chicagoan and former lawyer turned professionally certified coach. If you’re here to grow, I can help. Let’s go.

Hello, my beautiful friends. How are we doing today? I want to share with you some of my beliefs about weight loss that helped me lose 50 pounds in four months without exercising, without overhauling my eating habits, without using any medication or GLP-1s, nothing wrong with any of these modalities, but for me, my life was lifing to the max. And I did not want this to be a someday goal. I really wanted to create my desired goal weight. And so many of you already know this, but it’s worth repeating. I put my brain to work on how can I lose weight doing less? And I’m telling you, for any goal that you want to achieve, hire the person who has figured out how to get more by doing less. For any goal, whether it is a financial goal, whether it is a career goal, whether it is an inner work goal that you have, in this case I’m talking about weight loss. If you have a weight loss goal, you can lose weight a thousand different ways, probably infinite different ways. And the way that you choose really matters because your success is kind of dependent on that. And for me, I had to choose a way that was, I like to call it an essentialist approach because I just did not have time to spend hours in the gym or following different nutrition plans or overhauling my eating habits.

Again, it’s, it’s nothing wrong with those ways. It just was about adding more. And so I really want you to have this perspective for any goal that you approach. Is this person someone who I want to learn from because they can do it in a way that I also want to do it? So if you want to lose weight in an essentialist approach, going straight from where you are now to your weight loss goal without radically changing your life, and by going into a calorie deficit, basically eating the same foods you’re eating but less of it, I’m your girl. It’s like why would you spend all of this extra time and energy counting macros and calories and steps and sleep and hormones and gut health and blood sugar when the actual desire that you have is weight loss? It just makes absolutely no sense to me.

So that is kind of my opinion and, you know, take from it what’s helpful for you. You might be in a position where you really want to get stronger than do that and use exercise for that. I’m all for a good fitness goal. What I’m here to normalize is getting really clear about what your goal is and making sure you understand that the path that you choose to get it matters. And you can always change the path. And my path isn’t for everyone. I definitely don’t prescribe to that or believe that. And that’s why I talk so much about it because it’s resonating so much with the women who are just feeling like it’s a breath of fresh air. And that’s been really fun for me. So I want to just share with you some of the hills that I will die on, that I recently shared over on Instagram at mom.onpurpose because again, I think it’s resonating with so many of you, which I love to hear. Thank you for sharing your feedback and your progress and your successes. And I think just to share it here will be hopefully helpful for you all who haven’t heard it and who want to hear it in kind of this podcast long form. So that’s what we’re doing today. If you have not taken my weight loss challenge yet, this is not kind of like a summary of information. This is a 10 day fast track implementation challenge. So you’re like, “I’m ready to lose the next few pounds.” This is exactly what you get inside this challenge. It’s called the Next Few. It is at an excellent price point. You can get it for under $100. If you head on over to momonpurpose.com/challenge, you can sign up today and your 10 days of that challenge starts tomorrow. I really created it with me and other busy moms in mind, presumably you.

All of you listening, you have a full life. And so a lot of times when I sign up for a challenge, it requires me to like rearrange my schedule and a lot of times I can’t make it because it’s during preschool pickup and it just kind of feels like, oh, I can’t really participate in this challenge. And I have done one challenge before that wasn’t like that. It was, a business challenge where the content was prerecorded and dripped out and I loved it. I was like, yes, this is what I want. I knew every single day that I could come back and the next day would be there. And so I created my weight loss challenge using that sort of logistical format because I think just for busy women, you have so much going on, your life is full, you want to do it on your own time.

And so this is, again, you know, unlike anything else that I offer in terms of the how for weight loss, you get 10 specific tools and steps to take each and every day to help you lose the next few pounds. It doesn’t matter if you’re stuck in a plateau. It doesn’t matter if you just have gained a few pounds. It doesn’t matter if you’ve lost a few pounds. This is going to help you with losing the next few pounds over the next 10 days. I’m kind of obsessed with it. The results have been really amazing and incredible you can reply to your, registration email that you’ll get right away when you join and you can log in and you can send me an email, let me know how it’s going. I am keeping my eyes and kind of fingers and replying closely to the students inside this challenge because, you know, it’s a newer challenge and I love hearing from you and seeing your wins.

And it’s really been my love language to help so many more women through this new challenge. So I want to encourage you to go on over, get all of the details at momonpurpose.com/challenge. I think you’re going to love it. I’ve gotten so much positive feedback so far. I would love, love, love to see you inside. So now, let’s dive in to the hills I will die on as a mom of three who went from 175 to 125 pounds without exercising or using weight loss medication. And also, right, as if that title wasn’t long enough, without doing a lot of other things that we’re going to talk about. But let’s dive into it. Hill number one that I will die on is that exercise is ancillary to weight loss. This is a statement and opinion, a belief that I have that I will like be screaming from the mountaintops sharing to everyone because this myth that you need to exercise to lose weight is pervasive.

Like I will just be out in the world and I overhear conversations and they’ll be talking about weight loss and they’ll be saying, “Oh yeah, I need to get my, you know, workout in for these last five pounds,” right? I just saw another mom posting, on her stories who I absolutely love and adore. And she was saying like, “Oh, a quick way to get, you know, the next few pounds down is make sure you’re, you know, bringing your stroller with you exercising.” Like she’s talking about exercise. And oh, I cringe every time because I really do believe that when you conflate exercise with weight loss, you are combining two goals. The purpose of exercise is to strengthen your muscles, is to get fit, is to feel energized. I, I’m a huge fan of exercise. I always laugh because I do say that I don’t exercise officially or formally in the typical way that we talk about it. But I am moving my body. First of all, I go on two dog walks every single day, weather permitting, and I am chasing around three boys pretty much all day long. And so I am moving my body. And I say that because I think there’s just this narrative out there that you have to exercise to lose weight.

And this is not a knock on exercise. I am simply saying that the two are separate. You don’t have to exercise to lose weight at all. And even if you want to exercise, which I encourage you to do, right? I’m not your exercise girly in terms of offering you a fitness routine, but I do obviously think there are benefits to it and think that it’s a wonderful habit and even goal if you want to set a fitness goal to embark on. But what I see is entirely problematic is conflating the two.

And if you just, you know, pay attention to your own thoughts and you pay attention to what other people are talking about, there’s this common narrative, especially from moms who are stretched thin in terms of time. Like you are maxed out on time, you’re in, your kids are in school, you’ve got activities going on, you’re trying to, you know, navigate your day, whether that’s at home or out of the home for work and meals and like vacations and, and all of the things that, that take up mother and motherhood that we absolutely love and we’ve created on purpose. And then you’re adding in exercise because in the back of your mind, you’re thinking, “Okay, I want to lose the next 15 pounds.” That’s the problem that I think really stalls your progress and you won’t even realize it. So I’m not anti-exercise, of course. And you can still use exercise in any of my programs.

Keep exercising is just as part of your, self-care routine for taking care of your physical health, right? Just like you, you shower every day, just like you, you know, do your hair, right? You exercise, you move your body. Awesome. But untie that, untangle that from weight loss. Hill number two that I will die on for weight loss is that you need to change very little about your nutrition to lose weight. This, I think, is one of the biggest differentiators for at your goal weight, my signature weigh loss program, because most programs out there teach you how to optimize for nutrition or change your eating habits. And again, I think that is a really worthwhile goal, but I think we don’t talk about it in that way because most people just want to lose weight. And so the fitness industry, just like the nutrition industry, has really learned, okay, if their ultimate goal is to lose weight, then let’s teach them about fitness and nutrition through this lens of weight loss.

But really, again, I believe that overhauling your eating habits or optimizing for nutrition is ancillary to weigh loss. And I have a ton of evidence to prove this because my clients come to me repeatedly and they will say, “I have been eating healthier. I have been counting macros. I have been increasing my fiber and protein, and I have been in this cycle of losing and gaining the same 10 pounds.” And I say, “Yes, that makes sense to me.” Because here’s the thing, if you are used to eating foods that taste delicious to you and then all of a sudden you decide to increase lean meats, some protein, right, and increase, maybe fiber or vegetables, you can end up overeating because that food might not taste as delicious to you. So it seems like you are making progress because you’re eating healthier and you are eating healthier, but when you get on the scale, it might not be going down.

And the reason it’s not going down is because you’re focusing on an ancillary goal, you’re focusing on a nutrition goal. Again, a worthwhile goal, but be aware that that is separate from weight loss. So the reason I say that you need to change very little about your nutrition and not, you don’t need to change anything about your nutrition is because, you know, there’s kind of a little bit of an art to it. If you are eating cake all day or you are only eating carbs and sugars, you’re going to have a much harder time implementing at your goal weight. Now, is it possible? Absolutely but just think of the difference between feeling a little bit of hunger versus feeling hangry. Now, hangry, how I describe it is an experience that you have when you are eating way too many carbs and sugars and because of that, you’re going to have a dip in that blood sugar, your kind of body’s going to send you signals that are disproportionate to what’s actually happening.

And so we call it hangry, right? It’s like, oh my gosh, I need to eat right now or I’m going to die, right? When that’s not actually true at all. It’s simply that you’re eating so many carbs and sugars, so you have that dip in blood sugar that’s, disproportionate in terms of a hunger signal. Conversely, if you’re eating a typical diet, even if it includes carbs and sugars, and, you know, even if you don’t eat meat, like I’ve lost weight not eating meat before, it’s not really about that. You absolutely, in my opinion, don’t need to change very much about your nutrition. And the example that I like to give is GLP-1s, because even if you’ve never taken one, I’ve never taken one you know, I don’t think that, there’s any morality to taking them, of course, but I’m using this as an example and I do think it’s relevant for me to just share that with you since I’m talking about weigh loss.

But I do think that we all know people who have taken them or are taking them, and they’re not changing much about their nutrition at all, right? They’re just eating less. And it’s not a big deal to them. And for the people who I know who are taking them or who have lost a lot of weight on them, it’s so interesting for me to talk with them because they’ll say things like, “I just didn’t know this was possible for me.” And that is fascinating to me. Like they didn’t even know that number one, they could lose the weight, and number two, that they could just do it by eating less. Like it’s, it’s mind-blowing to me. And I do think that that’s why At Your Goal Weight, my signature program has just kind of spread organically through referrals, kind of like wildfire because it is a different approach than anything that’s out there.

Obviously, it doesn’t include any sort of GLP-1s or any sort of, disruptors in terms of hormones or, or drug like that. I just like to give it as an example because prior to GLP-1s, the way that we talked about weight loss typically was through the lens of exercising or nutrition. And that is really fascinating to me from a marketing perspective because I think that the fitness industry and the nutrition industry has really done an excellent job at capitalizing. And now we have this disruptor like a GLP-1, and then there’s AI on top of it for all of your recipes. And so I just think it’s a really interesting time. And for me, I was never interested in taking a GLP-1. I did not have hours to spend in the gym. I was not interested in getting childcare. I did not want to overhaul my nutrition because I knew that that would be adding in more.

Now, I also knew, okay, I can’t be eating candy bars every day, right? But I didn’t need a nutritionist to tell me that. So I did not change very much about my nutrition, at all, really, you know, and, and I think that that’s helpful for you to know. And if you think about how you could eat a lot healthier and not lose weight, it really makes sense, right? Okay. Let’s go on to hill number three that I will die on. High achieving moms often focus on health optimization that ends up having very little to do with weight loss. So high achieving moms in particular, and if you’re listening to this, you are a high achiever, just by the nature of this being a motherhood and personal growth and development podcast where you’re learning about mental, emotional, and physical health tools, like you fall into this category, okay? We love to optimize. We love to do all of the things. We like to have lots of things we’re working on at once. And we like to talk about that. Protein, steps, Pilates, supplements, organic food, sleep, gut health, blood sugar. Like I get it. And, and personally, I am very interested in all of those things. And I’m being very honest when I say that. I would love to be going to Pilates four days a week. I would love to, make sure that my supplements are, you know, perfect in terms of what my, you know, labs show every three months. I would love to get the exact amount of protein and the exact right amount of sleep and have the exact right type of organic food. And again, it’s interesting because when I think about that, it sounds so fun and kind of sexy.

But when I think about when I was wanting to lose weight, where I was at, and even now, right, with three kids, two dogs, a business, I’m still primary childcare. My life is lifing to the max, just a little bit different in terms of my youngest being just about two now. It’s still a crazy time for me and, and your life probably feels very full as well. So it’s worth mentioning that when I think about adding in a goal that I am committed to, it feels very different than when I think about working on optimizing all of those amazing and fun health habits. And I want you to pay attention to that because what you are committed to is what you get the results for. So I lost weight doing less. I want to be super clear about that. But I was extremely committed. And that didn’t take more time, right?

So most of my clients come to me and they’re like, “I just don’t have time to, you know, overhaul my eating habits. I got life lifing. I’m caring for aging parents. I got kids in school. Like I don’t want this to be someday goal. I really resonated. I want to lose this weight.” Whether it’s the baby weight or, you know, you had kids 10 years, 20 years ago, it doesn’t matter. That is one commonality with all of my clients. And I think it’s important for you to know that it, it’s about being committed and that’s a decision that you make. So it doesn’t take more time, but it does take more focus. And it doesn’t feel as like fun and indulgent. So when I talk, when I think to myself, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to get new recipes and I’m going to optimize for protein and get my steps in and go to Pilates and make sure I have the right supplements.” Like it, it’s very indulgent, right?

It, it feels like I’m going to get this dopamine from doing all of these new things. That is not how working on a goal feels, okay? Because when you’re working on a goal, it requires a transformation of you. It requires you to do something uncomfortable. Otherwise, you would already have the result. And I really want you to pay attention to that because, you know, this is where all of the memes come in. It’s like, you mean to tell me I can go to Pilates three times a week, get my steps in, be counting macros and protein only to be feeling, you know, 10 pounds within my goal weight to lose and gain that same weight, right? There’s all these memes about how you’re doing all of the things and you’re still losing and gaining the same weight. And that is because of this. You’re focusing on health optimization that is not committing to a weight loss goal.

Super important distinction. Okay. Hill number four. Mild hunger is not an emergency. Mild, doable hunger, it’s one of my tools that I teach inside at your goal weight. It is one of the modalities in terms of the methodology that I teach. It’s my lose more with less method. This is one of the tools that I teach. And I want to bring it up here because there’s so much rhetoric out there about how the best way to lose weight is to not feel hunger. But, you know, it just takes a lot of work. You really have to overhaul your eating habits. And here’s the thing, even if you do overhaul your eating habits where you’re eating really nutrient dense foods that are more nutritious, which again, huge fan of, will have a very positive impact on your overall health, it’s still a big jump if you are used to eating foods that, let’s just say, feel a little bit tastier for you. Maybe there’s a little bit more carbs in your typical diet and, you know, you’re not eating cake all day in, in candy bars, but you’re used to eating what you would describe as not necessarily, you know, protein and high fiber diet all day. When you make that switch, you will feel less hunger. I’ll, say that’s true. However, you will want to eat a lot more because you’re not used to eating that type of food. And so you really have to become someone completely different. And that’s why I think it doesn’t really work because you’re trying to do this identity shift from being someone who eats kind of your typical diet to now you’re going to eat this, you know, lean protein, high fiber diet that tastes completely different. So you have to become someone new, all just to avoid feeling a little bit of hunger.

It’s kinda crazy to me actually. I, don’t think it works. Obviously I am biased. This is like my approach and that’s really why I’m sharing this episode with you because my approach is not for everyone. It is for the person who’s like, “I want this to be permanent and I want this to fit into my life. I don’t want to be like eating this separate meal from my family all of the time. Like I want to have some pasta.” No, we’re not having pasta for every single meal, of course, but it’s like I did not overthink the nutrition at all. It’s, it’s, again, not like I had cake every meal or candy bars, but I just took my typical diet and I allowed myself to feel mild hunger. It’s not an emergency, okay? Hill number five, that I will die on. Daily weigh-ins are the only tracking you need.

This method of anchoring to the scale is one of my proprietary tools that you learn inside the challenge as well as inside At Your Goal Weight. And it breaks people’s brains because we are fed misinformation about tracking and that the information that we’re fed is funneled through the idea that the tracking can lead to weight loss, that if you’re tracking your steps, it can lead to weight loss, that if you’re tracking your protein, it can lead to weigh loss, that if you’re tracking your sleep or your gut health or your blood sugar, it can lead to weight loss. And indirectly, that might be true, right? I’m not going to say that that’s not true, but it’s like if I could take 10 steps to reach my goal weight or 1,000 steps, let’s just go with 10, right? It’s like, why are we doing all of this other stuff?

And for me, my life was lifing. I had three kids under four. I needed to figure out how to lose more weight doing less. I did not have the capacity to add in all of this extra tracking. And so weight loss is just a calorie deficit. That is the definition of losing weight. And so you have to be really clear about what you want. If in three months or six months you want to see a number on the scale that’s 25 pounds less, that’s a very specific result that you want. And the only tracking that you need is the number on the scale. Now, this doesn’t mean that the number on the scale is the only number that matters. Of course not. It’s like when you go for a checkup, let’s say your primary care provider, you get weighed and then maybe they take your blood pressure and then they take your temperature.

They’re checking lots of information to get a bigger, clearer picture of your overall, overall health. I just turned 40, so I got blood work done. You know, there’s lots of other times where we get labs done as well. And so it’s not that the number on the scale is the only number that matters, but for weight loss, it is actually the number that matters, right? Because how do we measure if you lost weight? It’s by the number on the scale. And so of course you want to use this as feedback. And then you can just kind of quiet down all of the calorie counting and macros and points and sleep and blood sugar and all of that and work on those goals one at a time. Daily weigh-ins, that is the tracking that you need to be doing. I mean, I was just getting my hair done.

It’s a perfect example. And as soon as people hear that I coach on weight loss, they have a thousand questions and they want me to help them lose weight. And she was like, you know, okay, well, what about eating in the morning and eating a night? She’s asking me all these questions and, you know, then she sort of said, like, how do you know if it’s working? And they said, well, if you’re in a plateau for more than four or five days, you, you need to go into more of a deficit. Like you’re not in a deficit, especially after a week. And it like broke her brain. You could tell that she had been at this plateau for longer and, and kept doing the same thing. I’m like, if you’re busying, meaning you are counting macros, counting steps, trying to eat more nutritious foods and like doing all this stuff and a week has gone by and you haven’t lost any weight, it’s not working.

Like the data is super clear and this is why daily weigh ins and anchoring to the scale is so important. Okay. Hill number six that I will die on for weight loss is an essentialist approach is one of the simplest to sustain long-term. So I talk a lot about how I lost 50 pounds in four months and that timeframe is pretty short, right but it’s really not about doing it quickly, even though a lot of times people want to hear like what’s realistic. And I always say like, as long as you don’t have some other health condition precluding you from losing weight, one to two pounds per week is very doable and very typical for many of my clients. And so, you know, that is appealing and, and rightfully so. But for me, what is much more appealing and what I want you to know is that I really believe that this approach is the most sustainable long term. That’s kind of why I’m obsessed with it. And that’s why I talk about how, oh, I’m coming up on two years maintaining my weight. Like I’m in the same size jeans that I was pre-kids. Like that’s really fun for me. So I say that because I want you to know that this method works long term. And the reason that that matters is because cool, if you lose those 35 pounds in, you know, six months, that’s awesome. But then what happens after that? If you slowly gain it back, like, did that really work? I don’t know, right? It, it didn’t work long term given your life, that’s for sure. And so inside At Your Goal Weight, I included an entire module on how to maintain your goal weight on maintenance. I could have created this as a separate course that you add on. It’s very simple, but it is not what happens on default.

And you know this because you’ve lost weight before and then you’ve gained weight back. And I decided, you know what? No, I want this to be comprehensive. I want you to have lifetime access. And so I put it all inside At Your Goal Weight, meaning after you do the lose more with less method, you then go on to maintenance. These are two separate skills. Skill number one is going into a calorie deficit to reach your goal weight, right? That’s the how you lose weight. Skill number two is how you maintain it, is maintenance. And most people focus on losing weight and creating that weight loss. That’s skill number one. They completely miss and they are unaware that there’s a second skill that they need to learn. I just brought on a weight loss client for six months in my highest one-to-one capacity, and she just wants to lose 10 pounds.

But she said, “You know what? What’s most important to me is maintenance.” And I was like, “Yes, exactly. That is why you would hire me even if you just want to lose 10 pounds, because it’s not just about the 10 pounds. It’s about how you maintain it. And to have me there with you, right, if you want, right? It’s the difference between joining a gym versus hiring a personal trainer. Everyone has different needs. So if you want someone who can tell you every single day, yes, keep going, this is how we do the maintenance skill. Yes, tweak this. Okay, now you’re up a pound. Now we need to get you back down. And just making sure that you understand and have the skillset of maintenance. Like that’s a lifelong skill that you will have forever. And for me, this approach works really well because it doesn’t require you to overhaul your eating habits.

So if your family, you know, does Taco Tuesday, you can participate, you know, or whatever else. I talk a lot about how in my first two pregnancies after those, I lost 40 pounds each time and I was not eating meat at the time. And after my third pregnancy, when I lost the baby weight, I was eating meat. And I use those examples and I talk about it here because I want you to know that it really doesn’t matter what the food is. Again, as long as you’re not eating cake and candy bars all day, that means it works with any type of diet. Hill number seven, losing one to two pounds a week is very doable for most moms. Now, the nuance here is if you are on a prescription or you have, a diagnosis or some other reason medically why you can’t lose weight right now, and you’ve been told you can’t lose weight right now or you shouldn’t go on a weigh loss journey given this medication, then that would be the exception, obviously, or you have some sort of health condition.

But I find that a lot of my clients come in with this belief that because they gained the weight over two decades, that now it’s going to take them two decades to lose it. And I have helped moms lose 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 pounds. And, you know, it’s in the matter of three to eight months, and it just kind of breaks their brain. And I don’t think that the speed is as important as is the understanding that you absolutely can consistently see a downward trend. I think we confuse those charts where it says like, success isn’t linear with, oh, that normalizes, then maybe I’m going to go up a little bit and maybe I’m going to go down a little bit and up and down and, you know, three months have gone by and I’m still at the same weight. That’s not typical for weight loss, at least not in my world, not using my lose more with less method.

And that’s really why I wanted this to be its own hill because I do think that people get stuck in the cycle of losing and gaining the same 10 pounds, thinking that that is a normal part of weight loss. And it’s not. It doesn’t have to be anyways. Like my clients, if they are in a plateau for more than, more than the number of days that they want to be, let’s just say they’re in a plateau for five days, like they haven’t lost any weight in five days and they want to be losing two pounds a week or 1.5 pounds a week, I will give them tweaks to go into more of a calorie deficit. And within a day or two, the scale drops. The scale shows you data every single day. It shows you if you are losing the weight or not. And that’s why I love it because it’s one of the few goals where you get that instant feedback every single day.

And so this is not meant to be sort of binary, right? You know, I just hesitate and I want to add a caveat here because this is a public podcast. So if you have a situation or you’re on a medication or you have a medical condition that, you know, is an exception to this, I fully agree with that and support that. But for those of you who have been told it’s totally safe for you to lose weight right now, you’re in overall good health, you can go on this weight loss journey, there’s nothing precluding you from weight loss, it just feels challenging because life is lifing. Absolutely, I believe that one to two pounds a week, generally speaking, is very doable. Okay. Hill number eight, this is the last one. Your goal weight is so much closer than you think. I truly believe this for you because the way that you’re doing things right now is getting you the results.

And so you don’t have to overhaul anything. You definitely shouldn’t keep doing what you’re already doing because that’s going to continue to get you the same results. You just have to shift what you’re doing and do things a little bit differently. I have clients repeatedly tell me that they thought they would need to do more and then they kind of laugh to themselves because they’ll say things like, “It’s the reason I hired you. It’s the reason I signed up for this because I wanted to do less.” But just as high achieving women were used to working so hard and problem solving and fixing and trying and counting and all of the things. And you don’t have to do any of that. And so that’s where the mindset and brain management comes in. And I do have a module on emotional eating and on mindset, two separate modules inside At Your Goal Weight because that’s when you’re going to work on the emotional eating and the mindset.

It’s not part of the lose more with less method strategy, but it is really important supplementally to support you so that you don’t self-sabotage, so that you don’t slow down, take breaks or quit. And I do believe that when you have that combination of the specific skills that you’ll learn alongside the strategy inside At Your Goal Weight, you will lose weight in a much kind of faster, even though again, I don’t think that’s the point, but in a much more, concise, in a quicker, and in a more sustainable way. For me, that’s what it’s really all about. This isn’t like a quick fix. It is a strategic path to reaching your goal weight in a way that feels doable for you. Commonly, that’s one to two pounds a week, but it doesn’t have to be. And then most importantly for me, it’s teaching you how to sustain it long-term in holidays, around travel and vacation.

When you’re with your family, you know, maybe you have Sunday night dinners and it’s Italian and you’re not sure how to maintain that deficit. All of that mental chatter when other people have opinions about you, all of that stuff comes up. And I really do believe that when you learn what I have taught, not just based on my own experience, but before I created At Your Goal Weight, I coached many, many moms privately to help them lose weight. So I included all of, you know, their challenges and, and what came up for them in terms of obstacles. And so it’s a really comprehensive, but also very strategically outlined path to help you achieve your weight loss goal. And I really do believe that when you follow this, your weight loss goal is so much closer than you think. And even if you don’t believe that, borrow the belief from me.

It’s like the people who I have talked with who said, “I just didn’t believe it was possible for me, but they wanted to try anyways with their GLP-1s or even with At Your Goal Weight. It’s like, let your desire be greater than your self-doubt.” So I believe that your weight loss goal is so much closer than you think, and all you need to do is have the desire for the result. It’s okay if the self-doubt is there, but your desire and your commitment has to be bigger than that. So I would love to see you inside the challenge. That is your best next step, I believe. This is going to give you the next sort of like 10 days of implementation to get started with the Lose More With Less method. And then from there, if you’re interested, you can move on to At Your Goal Weight, but even if you’re not, you get 10 days of implementation to help you lose the next few pounds over at momonpurpose.com/challenge.
